Transition Management

The aim of transition management is

  • Replace temporarily a manager till the new one is on board
  • Clean the situation to give the “to be recruited” manager an easier start
  • Prepare the situation to facilitate an internal promotion

The transition manager must be considered by everybody as the definitive manager.

If a new manager must be recruited, the transition manager will participate to the recruitment process.

When on board, the new manager will be coached.

The change manager must be sure that all necessary information is transferred to the new manager.
